Description
In March 2025 a fire tore through AJ Fernandez’s factory in Esteli and destroyed millions of cigars. Amar was blended in the aftermath as a thank-you to the people who turned up afterward. The name carries two meanings at once: to love in Spanish, moon in Arabic, a nod to both sides of Fernandez’s heritage. It is a Nicaraguan puro under a Habano wrapper, rolled at the San Lotano factory, medium bodied and layered with cocoa, cinnamon spice and pepper against something faintly citric. The purple and gold band is one of the best-looking in the house. Robusto, 5 1/2 x 54.
